The first component Chris designed was a simple sealed bearing headset and while the design brief was to create a unit capable of lasting at least a couple of seasons use, the reality is a component so precisely made and so well sealed that early versions are still going strong after 20 years.
Available in a plethora of colours, we fit more of these headsets than all the others put together. Fitting of such a precise component is a key factor in trouble free use and enduring lifespan, that's why whenever we install a headset, we always ream and face the headtube, to allow a perfect fit, from day one.
